  • To raise awareness of licensed amateurs in the community through public service communications and operations, as well as demonstrations to the general public.
  • To provide emergency communications in the event of a natural disaster in the community.
  • To help in the advancement of amateurs, by aiding in the theory of FCC amateur license upgrading exams.
  • To assist in the licensing preparation process of non-licensed radio operators into the world of amateur radio.
  • To provide a location for non-licensed individuals and licensed amateurs to get together to operate over the amateur designated frequencies.

Club meetings are the 1st and the 3rd Friday of every month. Testing for licensing is on even numbered months (Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct., Dec.). Specific testing information can be obtained from Dr. Jones.
